Install ccleaner and use it to clean out the registry. This is because the software register itself with the system and sometimes uninstall process is not able to remove this registry. PS: The old version of realtek which we are trying to install may have you in loops of uninstalling the driver. If the link mentioned here dies, you know which version to get. The versions mentioned here may change, but get the realtek series 6.0.1. Remove my realtek 6.0.8xxx.1 and Nahimic 2.x.I updated my realtek audio driver to version 6.0.8xxx.1 which caused Nahimic to not recognize it. Apparently, Nahimic 2+ requires realtek audio driver pre-installed. I recently run into this issue of drivers compatibility. If you think it's something else then please voice your ideas as I'm happy to try anything. Many assumptions are being made here and it mostly boils down to me trying different things over time that have lead me to believe this is the cause. Strangely this wasn't an issue when I was able to get NH3 to run on my chipset, but now that isn't an option anymore so I'd like to see what can be done (even if there's an ini file somewhere that I can modify myself ). This makes me think that theres a impedance or sensitivity setting that isn't correctly detecting what is required to power the headphone? Just to note this is my 2nd 250ohm headphone and I had the same issues with the previous one. This doesn't always work and I sometimes spend 10 minutes trying over and over without change. I can push 40% before it's too loud which is the same as the 250ohm when watching a video on Netflix or VLC.

If I switch to a 32ohm headphone then everything is consistant no matter the application and no volume changes are noticable anywhere. If I unplug my headphones (250ohm) and replug them while in the application sometimes the audio will increase and I can run it around 70% volume with maxed and extreme volume leveling. In Nahimic there isn't any reporting that I have found on what is being detected.Īn example of this is when some applications, IE PUBG, are launched the audio of the application is really really quiet even at max volume and sound leveling maxed with extreme set.

I don't know how to check what level impedance is being detected as the Realtek HD Audio Manager is over-ridden with Nahimic 2. The only issue I'm having with this is, what I believe to be, impedance sensing is off in certain applications.
